Growers Notes

These are recommendations based upon our extensive testing. Every situation is unique and requires the grower to monitor plant health and adapt the recipe according to crop response.

Best Practices

CLEANSE

Irrigation System Maintenance

Media/System Flush

Mix 25ml per 10L of water during the final flush to reduce mineral load in media and plant tissue.

Cuttings/Clones

25ml Cleanse per 10L of water. Dip fresh cuttings fully to improve cell health and increase immunity.

Foliar Application

Mix 100ml Cleanse per 1L of water and spray evenly.

Test on a small area first to ensure no damage.

Surface Treatment/Cleaning

Mix 100ml Cleanse per 1L of water and spray all surfaces, tools, floors, and walls maintain a clean and trouble-free environment without toxic and dangerous chemicals.

STACK

Application Timing

Apply Stack from clone up to week 3 of flowering, or once plants stop growing vertically.

Foliar Application

20mL per 10L of water and spray thoroughly twice weekly. Spray with lights off and allow to dry before turning on.

Do not spray past week 3 of flower.

Seed Treatment

Mix 10mL per 10L of water and soak seed for 1-2 minutes before planting. Stack increases germination rates and plant vigour.

IPM

Before application

  •  Shake well before mixing
  •  Turn off fans to ensure even coverage
  •  Turn off lights to reduce risk of damage
  •  Saturate growing media with water

During application

  •  Wear appropriate protective gear (PPE)
  •  Drench the entire plant from stem to leaves

Infestation / Disease

For spider mite infestations we recommend two consecutive days of spraying followed by a day off. The day off allows the plant to rest because repeated spraying can stress the plant during this process.
If the grower notices any adverse reaction like wilting or other Phytotoxic reactions, they should add more days off between the spray routine. This rotation is repeated 3 times over a 9 day period (the 9th day is a day off)

Fully Saturating the Media

The technique of fully saturating the media first, makes sure the plant is fully hydrated, so that it does not uptake IPM when applied.
Once the spraying is complete, allow the plant to dry down to your normal irrigation schedule and resume your schedule.
If the grower sees any adverse reaction in the plants, stop and take a day or two off before re-applying.

Spray Procedure

                                            1. Saturate
Fully saturate the media with pH adjusted water.
If the plant is fully hydrated, it will not absorb IPM through its leaves. If the plant is dehydrated, it will absorb IPM through its leaves. Skipping this step can cause burning or phytotoxic reactions.
                                            2. Climate
Lower temperature to around 22° C and use dehumidifiers to maintain humidity around 55-65% to prevent mould and mildew issues.
                                            3. Lighting
Only spray when high intensity lights are turned off to prevent burning.
                                            4. Spray
Start by spraying the media, following up the stalk making sure to drench the undersides of the leaves.
Follow with a spray over the top to ensure full saturation of all plant foliage.
                                            5. Dry
Allow enough time to dry (3-4 hours) before high intensity lights are turned on.

Infestation

For infested root zones , we recommend a day of drench, followed by a day of spray, followed by a day off. The day off allows the plant to rest because drenching and spraying can stress the plant during this process. If the grower notices any adverse reaction like wilting or other phytotoxic reactions, they should add more days off between the drench and spray routine.
This rotation is repeated over a two week period to knock down larvae dwelling in the root-zone and adults in the foliage.
The IPM Drench Procedure is designed to reduce bug pressure enough to get the plants (in that run) to harvest.
Once successful, remove the root zone of all plants and start over.

Flushing the Media

The technique of flushing the media first, make sure the plant is fully hydrated, so that it does not uptake IPM when applied. The final flush removes the IPM from the root zone and gets nutrients back to the roots.
Once the drench is complete, allow the plant to dry down to your normal preference and resume your irrigation schedule.
If the grower sees any adverse reaction in the plants, stop and take a day or two off before re-applying.

Drench Procedure
  • Saturate
Fully saturate the media with pH adjusted water

  • Drench
Drench all growing media to runoff with the IPM solution

  • Wait
    Wait 45 min – 1 hour

  • Flush

          1. Ideal daytime temperature should be 24-27°C. If using extra CO2, temps can be 24-30°C
          2. Ideal nighttime temperature should be 19-22°C
          3. Humidity in the grow stage should be approx 60% and in the flowering stage should be approx 50%
          4. Always check pH before adding Microbes and/or feeding your nutrient solution to your plants. Aim for 6.0 pH
          5. PPM of your nutrient solution should be 600-800 in Grow and 800-1000 in Flowering. Some plants may need more that this.  Start low and you can always add more fertiliser. It's hard to take it out once it's in your grow medium!
          6. Fertilise 1-2 times per week and use straight water in between, when needed (feed, water, feed (or) feed, water, water, feed)
          7. Soil & CoCo growers should test the PPM's of your runoff after watering. If it is much higher than what you just fed, use less (or no) fertiliser on the next watering. Be careful not to OVER water. If the top 3-5cm of the medium feels dry, it's generally safe to water your plant
